Named after the admired and revered Udayan building within the Viswa Bharati complex, our Deluxe Room, Udayan is a XXX sq. ft. room elegantly furnished with one king sized bed, one attached bathroom, and a common balcony. The Room has facilities like complimentary toiletries, electric kettle, flat screen TV, air conditioning. This room opens into a wide veranda overlooking lush green garden hosting artistic modern statues and a serene temple.

 

For history buffs, Udayan is the house of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore where he lived, and the beautiful white heritage building is very well maintained. Udayan is the most imposing house and place where Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose came to attend a conference with Rabindranath Tagore. Distinguished visitors who stayed here are like Stella Kramrisch, Margaret Milward, Sir Maurice Gwyer, S. Radhakrishnan and Jawaharlal Nehru.
