Nestled inside the green contours of Prantik, Shantiniketan, it will take you away from the bustling life of city to the memories of red soil that was once harvested by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. Experience serenity with a rejuvenating walk amidst our beautiful gardens, surrender yourself to the deep blue sky lying on the lash green lawn, enjoy the sun setting on the white home with few birds still haven’t returned their nest.

Abhilasha provides you modern amenities within a deeply rooted earthen atmosphere. The garden statues celebrate the mendicant mystics of the Baul’s lost in divine lunacy. Enjoy the vegetable and fruit garden filled with sprouting of life. When sunshine doesn’t permeate through the surrounding tress anymore, lose yourself to the sound of the fountain and in a beautiful evening, dance to the tunes of the Baul’s who often performs live in Abhilasha.

We don’t restrict your dietary desires with a menu, we cook what you savour. On a gathering, you can relish the rural style of Bengali cooking on wood fire placed inside a clay cooking hub. That is our specially made rustic ranna ghar (cooking room). Feel free to pluck a mango from the tree, or savour any of our vegetable cultivation, Abilasha lives breathing ‘home away from home’.
